Airservices wins best IT project award

Airservices Australia has won an award for best federal government IT project of the year at iTnews’ 2019 Benchmark Awards for its huge IaaS overhaul.?

CIO Chris Seller said it was fantastic to get the opportunity to recognise all the hard work that had gone into delivering the project.

“This is the beginning of quite a large digital transformation we’re doing, and the move to the cloud will allow us to drive a lot more information driven decision making, situational awareness so that storage from the pilot will be able to manage much more effectively in the future,” he said.
